In 1907 Alexander Drankov opened the first
russian film production studio in Saint Petersburg. The critics of silent films
his first film ignore.
And so Drankov’s Stenka Razin is considered as the first Russian feature film.
Film is based on the song From the Island of the Deep Stream.
